Layered Thanks
Layered Thanks
Thanks for popping by today's post,
I made this card for a local food pantry.. They are flat out at the moment feeding those hit hardest by the current Covid 19 crisis. The company i work for have made a donation to assist them. I can't wait to join them in a shopping spree, and present them with my card to show our appreciation for all they do.
This is a simple but effective card.
Here is the recipe...
From Just Jade card stock I cut the following.
Card base 1/2 an A4 sheet of card stock.
6.1 cm x 11.1 cm (layer 3)
6 cm x 6 cm (layer 6)
From Soft Seafoam card stock I cut
8.6 cm x 14 cm (layer 2)
5.1 cm x 10 cm ( layer 5)
5 cm x 5 cm (layer 8)
14.4 cm x 10 cm for the insert (layer 1)
From my chosen DSP i cut
10 cm x 14.4 cm ( layer 1)
5.6 cm x 10.6 cm ( layer 4)
5.4 cm x 5.4 cm ( layer 7)
From Whisper White card stock i cut
9.6 cm x 14 cm for the insert (layer 2)
From the Just Jade Ribbon i cut a piece to be 8 cm, i tied this with a knot in the middle then trimmed to be 6 cm.
I took the Soft Seafoam c/s pieces and ran them through the embossing folder from the Greenery Embossing folder set.
Here is the easy part, I layered the cut pieces in order as above, layers 1 and 2 directly on to the card stock base, layers 3,5 and 5 together and attached to card base set as in picture, pieces 6,7 and 8 were layered together and set on dimensionals and attached to the front layers offset as in pic. i stamped the thank you on layer 5 using Pretty Peacock ink. Attach the ribbon as in pic using glue dots. For the insert I layered the Soft Seafoam and the Whisper White, using Pretty Peacock ink I stamped a sentiment from the Tasteful Thoughts stamp set, I also used the leaf stamp from the same set to decorate the insert and the envelope. I used some of the pretty Just Jade enamel dots to add a little bling to the front of my card.
I hope you enjoy making one of your very own.You can get all the items as listed below by clicking on the Shop with me link below.
